Xiaomi has today officially unveiled its first ever smartphone with a 48-megapixel camera, the Redmi Note 7 in Nepal. The smartphone will be available at a starting price of Rs. 21,999 for 3GB/32GB storage variant, while the top-end 4GB / 128GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 26,999.

Speaking of its specifications, the Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, the phone houses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz , coupled with 3GB/4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. The storage does support memory expansion via a microSD card. On the software front, it runs on the latest Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top.
The phone is backed by a 4000mAh battery seen on the Redmi Note 7 Pro that supports Quick Charge 4.0. As far as the connectivity features are concerned, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS and Bluetooth 5.0.
In terms of camera department, the Redmi Note 7 comes with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. At the front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and AI beauty.
