Mi Nepal is all geared up to launch its first Redmi K series smartphone, the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 in Nepal. The company has started sharing teasers on their social media accounts hinting at the imminent launch of the smartphone in Nepal. The flagship device Redmi K20 Pro was launched in India alongside the Redmi K20 last week.
Overview of the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20
If you didn’t know, the Xiaomi Redmi K20 is a mid-range smartphone featuring Snapdragon 730 chipset whereas the Redmi K20 Pro is a flagship phone boasting the Snapdragon 855 chipset. Except for the processor & some other features, most of the specifications are the same for both the phones.
First off, talking about the display, both the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED displays with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.9%. The regular K20 comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage whereas the K20 Pro comes with 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage. Underneath, both the handsets are backed by a 4,000mAh battery which supports 27W fast charging for K20 Pro and 18W fast charging for K20. Both the phones run the latest Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.
In terms of the camera department, the Redmi K20 Pro features triple camera setup comprising of 48MP Sony IMX 586 primary camera, 13MP wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. On the front, the phone comes with a pop-up camera that houses a 20MP camera.

As far as pricing is concerned, the Redmi K20 Pro is priced at Rs.27,999 in India(roughly Rs.44,800 in Nepal ) for 6GB/128GB storage model while the higher end 8GB/256GB variant costs 30,999 roughly Rs.49,600. On the other hand, the price of the Redmi K20 starts at Rs.21,999 (roughly Rs.35,200 in Nepal) for 6GB/64GB storage variant, while the 6GB/128GB storage variant costs Rs.23,999(Rs.38,400).

Launch Date
The release date in Nepal is not assured yet but the Smartphone might hit the Nepali market shortly in a couple of weeks from today.
