As expected, Mi Nepal has today officially announced its first-ever Redmi K series smartphone, the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 in Nepal. The Redmi K20 is a mid-range smartphone featuring Snapdragon 730 chipset whereas the Redmi K20 Pro is a flagship that comes with Snapdragon 855 chipset. The key highlights of the smartphones are AMOLED display, triple rear camera, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Redmi K20
The Redmi K20 comes with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is equipped with an Octa-Core Snapdragon 730 SoC, paired by 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It runs on Android Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top and all these are backed by 4000mAh battery. As for security. it features a seventh-generation optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
For photography, the Redmi K20 features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. At the front, it packs a 20-megapixel pop-up front camera.

The Redmi K20 Pro also sports the same 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display found on Redmi K20. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with MIUI 10 and is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging. Apart from that, it also features the in-display fingerprint sensor.
Coming to the cameras, the Redmi K20 Pro packs a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor, 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. At the front, it has a 20-megapixel pop-up front camera with f/2.2 aperture, 0.8μm pixel size.
