Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, is without a doubt one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year. After all the buzz and hype, the company finally announced the Mi Mix 2 at a launch event in China. Talking about the design first, Mi Mix 2 is now smaller than its predecessor making it much easier to hold the device with one hand and also the bottom chin of the phone is reduced by 12%. Nevertheless, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 looks premium and gorgeous featuring an aluminum alloy frame, curved glass at the front and a ceramic back.

The Xiaomi Mix 2 flaunts 5.99-inch FHD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset along with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64/128/256 of internal storage. You can also opt for a premium edition of Mi Mix 2 with 8GB RAM and 128GB memory. The device is backed up by 3400mAh battery with Quickcharge 3.0 support. The new phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 skin on top. Connectivity option includes Global 4g LTE, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and NFC.

In the back, there is a 12MP camera with Sony IMX386 sensor,5P lens, dual LED Flash and 4-axis optical image stabilization. At the bottom front, there is a 5MP camera for shooting selfies and also includes facial recognition function.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is priced at RMB 3,299 (Rs 51,713) for the 6GB RAM/64GB model and RMB 3,599(Rs 56,416) for the 6GB RAM/128GB model and RMB 3,999(Rs 62,686) for the 6GB/256GB variant. At the moment, regular Mi Mix 2 is only available in black color whereas a Special Edition is available in black and white color option.
