The new Galaxy J7 Prime 2 shares very similar appearance as well as specs like its big brother Galaxy J7 Prime. But, with a slight upgrade painted to make the handset better. In term of design, nothing has changed much. The J7 Prime sports a metallic body with a 5.5-inches FHD display having 2.5D curved glass on top. The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 chips the Exynos 7870 process, the one found on the J7 Prime. The processor is paired with a 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The phone also offers an additional MicroSD slot for storage expansion up to 256GB. Whereas the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the home button. This latest J-series handset upgrade might not cover every feature but it certainly offers some of Bixby features.The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 runs on Android v7.1.1 Nougat with Experience UI out of the box.
Optic-wise, The Galaxy J7 sports a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus, and LED Flash. The camera on J7 Prime 2 features HDR, panorama, geo-tagging, touch focus and multiple other unique features. Upfront, unlike Galaxy J7 Prime, the upgraded handset boasts a 13MP camera with f/1.9 aperture.
