After a lot of teasing on their social media page, OPPO has finally unveiled its new mid-range smartphone, the OPPO A7 here in Nepal. The newly launched OPPO A7 comes loaded with a waterdrop notch display and an impressive 4,230-mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 35,790 in Nepal and will be available for purchase through offline retail stores. It will be available in two color options – Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue.
In terms of specifications, the OPPO A7 boasts a 6.2-inch HD+ FullView IPS LCD display, which offers a screen resolution of 1520×720 pixels along with aspect ratio of 19:9. The display also receives protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Inside, powering the phone is an Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. One of the key highlights of the phone is the massive 4,230-mAh battery, which can easily last for a full day on a single charge. The phone includes a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature as well.
As for the software, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with ColorOS 5.2 on top. Also similar to Huawei’s GPU Turbo tech, the OPPO A7 features the new HyperBoost technology that offers smooth mobile gaming. Connectivity option includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For photography, the OPPO A7 comes with a dual camera setup at the back, which combines a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it packs a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video-calling.
