Competitive gaming is enormously well known in Southeast Asia however it has just started to get on in Nepal over the recent years. Now, it’s going to get a lift with the launch of Nepal Esports Championship 2018, Nepal’s first major esports tournament.
Nepal E-sports Championship intends to bring gamers from all around Nepal in a single platform. The main vision of this event is to provide an international platform for gamers so that they can represent Nepal for various tournaments held worldwide.
Ncell will be hosting the 2018 edition of Nepal Esports Championship. The Nepal Esports Championship 2018 boasts a whopping NPR 4,30,000 prize pool, which is shared between two major games, namely, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and DOTA 2. The event will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall between 17th-18th August 2018, which will see 32 Local teams battle out for Rs. 4,30,000 prize pool.
They will also be hosting multiple tournaments for Mobile legends, PUBG mobile, and FIFA.
