After much anticipation, Huawei has today finally launched its brand new smartphone, dubbed Huawei Nova 5T in Nepal. In terms of design, the Huawei Nova 5T looks like a re-branded version of the Honor 20 and even features similar specifications. The newly launched Nova 5T comes with a flagship 7nm Kirin 980 chipset along with quad rear cameras and GPU Turbo 3.0 technology. As for the display, the Huawei Nova 5T has a 6.26-inch All-View FHD+ display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC processor coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage which doesn’t include a dedicated microSD card slot.
There is a 3,750mAh battery which supports 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge technology. As per the company, the phone can charge up to 50% in just 24 minutes. On the software side, it runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9.1 on top.
For photography, the Nova 5T sports a quad-camera setup on the back panel which combines a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a third 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a fourth 2-megapixel depth sensor. As for the front, there’s a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Other camera features include AIS Super Night Mode, 3D Qmoji Expressions and Super AI HDR+.
