Huawei’s sub-brand honor has today released another affordable device in China. The smartphone is dubbed as Honor 7C which looks very identical to the Honor 7X which was released in December 2017. The Honor 7C is a mid-range offering that comes with a dual rear camera setup, 18:9 aspect ratio display and Face unlock technology. The phone is already available for pre-order in China with a starting price of 899 Yuan(roughly Rs.14700).
In terms of specifications, the Honor 7C comes with a metal unibody design and a 5.99-inch HD+ FullView display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels along with aspect ratio of 18:9. Inside, it is fueled by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, clubbed with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage. You can add up the storage up to 256GB using a micro SD card. As for the software, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Emotion UI 8.0 UI on top. The phone houses a 3000 mAh non-removable battery. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear panel just below the camera setup. Furthermore, the phone also comes with Face unlock feature. In terms of connectivity features, it offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Dual SIM and 3.5mm audio jack
On the camera front, it sports a dual camera setup at the back with a combination 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor accompanied by LED Flash. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling.

The Honor 7C is priced at ¥899 (roughly. Rs 14,700) for the 3GB RAM/32 GB variant while the 4GB RAM/32GB variant costs ¥1299 (roughly. Rs 21,00). The phone comes in multiple color options- Black, Red, Gold, and Blue. It will go on sale starting from March 13 in China. There’s no word from the company regarding a global launch.
