Coolpad Cool Play 6 with 6GB RAM Launched in Nepal

Coolpad has finally announced its much-anticipated smartphone- the Coolpad Cool Play 6 in Nepal. The company made the announcement via its official Facebook page today. The Cool Play 6 can be considered as a gaming-centric phone that comes boasting an intelligent temperature control technology to keep your phone cool while you’re playing heavy games. The phone is priced at Rs. 31,996 and will be available in two color options – Black and Gold

As for its specifications, the Cool Play 6 sports a 5.50-inch Full HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Underneath, powering the phone is an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor clocked at 1.95 GHz coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone doesn’t include expandable memory slot, therefore,you’re stuck with limited storage space. However, I believe 64GB storage space is plenty for most of the average users. A massive 4,060mAh non-removable battery is backing up the device which is good enough to last you a full day on a single charge. In terms of software, it operates on Android 7.1 Nougat topped with Journey UI. as per the company, the smartphone will soon be upgraded to the latest Android Oreo in coming days.

In addition, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 is also included with Wi-Fi performance optimization. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of the phone. As for the connectivity features, it offers Dual-Sim, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C port.

In the camera department, the phone packs a dual camera setup on the back which features dual 13-megapixel Sony sensors with f/2.0 aperture, Digital Zoom, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor for shooting selfies and video-calling.
