Asus has unveiled three new smartphones under its Zenfone 5 series at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. The smartphone includes Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5Q and the Zenfone 5Z. The new Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5 Lite falls under the mid-range category while the Zenfone 5Z is a premium flagship smartphone that offers high-end specs including the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Chipset.
Asus Zenfone 5Z
Firstly, let’s talk about the flagship model, the Asus Zenfone 5Z bears a 6.2-inch FHD+ (1080×2246 pixels) Super IPS display that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the top. The phone has an aspect ratio of 19:9 which offers incredible 90% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by the flagship processor Snapdragon 845 clocked at 2.8Ghz coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB internal storage. The phone is offered in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and a whopping 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant. Furthermore, all three variants will have support for microSD card up to 2TB. The phone houses a 3,300mAh battery with AI Quick Charging support while running on Android 8.0 Oreo with ZenUI skin on top of it. The Zenfone 5Z also includes stereo speakers with NXP 9874 Smart Amplifier and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Zenfone 5Z also comes with their own version of Animoji called ZeniMoji.
As for the cameras, the phone packs a dual (12MP+8MP) rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, 1,4um pixel size, OIS and Dual LED Flash as well. On the front, it boasts an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle lens

Asus Zenfone 5
The Zenfone 5 looks very identical to iPhone X from the front, thanks to that familiar notch on top. The smartphone is a toned-down version of the flagship phone Zenfone 5Z since most of the specs are similar except the processor. It comes with 6.2-inch FHD+ 19:9 Super IPS display with a screen resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 636 processor paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. It is backed up by a 3300mAh battery and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.
On the camera front, the Zenfone 5 pack the same dual rear camera setup featuring 12MP Sony sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS and 8MP wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front also comes with the same 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

Asus Zenfone 5Q
The Zenfone 5Q sports a 6-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) 18:9 IPS display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. It features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card. As similar to the Zenfone 5Z and Zenfone Z, it also runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and is backed up by 3,300mAh battery. In terms of connectivity features, it offers LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
In terms of optics, the Zenfone 5Q sports dual cameras featuring 16MP Sony IMX363 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and OIS. For selfies, there is a 20MP primary Sony IMX376 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 120-degree wide angle secondary camera.

Pricing and Availability
The flagship Zenfone 5Z is the cheapest Snapdragon 845 device available right now. It comes with a starting price of $479(roughly Rs.50,055). The company has not revealed the price of the Zenfone 5 and Zenfone Q as of now. So stay tuned to Ingadget Nepal for more details.
