Oppo has announced its latest smartphone, the OPPO Reno 2 in India. The OPPO Reno 2 is a successor to the OPPO Reno smartphone. Some of the main features of the phone include Full-HD+ AMOLED panel, in-screen fingerprint scanner, and quad cameras. The Reno 2 is available in only one memory configuration – 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage variant which is priced at Rs 36,990 ( roughly Rs.59,235 ) in India.

As for the specs, the OPPO Reno 2 sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. In the inside, it is powered by Snapdragon 730G processor paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB internal storage. As for the software side, the phone runs on Android Pie out-of-the-box with ColorOS 6 on top.
The phone is equipped with a 4000mAh battery that supports 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. It also includes an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back panel. Connectivity options include dual-SIM with dual-4G and dual-VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
For photography, the Reno 2 comes with a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with OIS and EIS, a 13MP telephoto sensor with 5x Hybrid Optical Zoom and 20X digital zoom, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, it packs a 16-megapixel Shark fin rising camera on the top accompanied with soft flash and AI beauty mode.
