Vivo launches three new Smartphones in Nepal

Yet another smartphone brand Vivo has just taken its first step into Nepali handset market.Over the past few years, Vivo has established itself as one of the largest smartphone vendors in China. After accomplishing promising growth in China, Vivo has moved its look towards Nepali market. The company marks their arrival in Nepal introducing its first two Y-series smartphones – Vivo Y53 and Vivo Y65. However, Vivo V7 was the main smartphone that was featured at the launch event.

Everest Manakamna of Apex Group and Triveni Group are the official distributors of Vivo Smartphones in Nepal.

Vivo Y53

Vivo Y53 features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD ( 540 x 960 pixels )display. It is powered by the Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It packs in a 2,500mAh non-removable battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The internal storage stands at 16GB with an option for memory expansion for up to 256GB via a microSD card.

Coming to the camera, it sports an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and LED Flash. On the front, you get a 5MP front facing the camera with f/2.2 aperture. The Vivo Y53 will be available in Crown Gold and Matte Black color options at Rs.15,590.

Vivo Y65

The Vivo Y65 features a 5.5 inch HD IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280. The device is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM and Adreno 308 GPU. It houses a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. As far as the camera is concerned, it sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED Flash. Up front, there’s a 5MP front-facing camera. The Vivo Y65 will be available at a price of Rs.20,990

Vivo V7

At the launch event held in Hotel Yak and Yeti, Vivo V7 was the model that stands out clearly from the pack. The Vivo V7 comes with a 5.7-inch HD IPS FullView Display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. Inside, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor clocked at 1.8GHz and coupled with 4GB RAM. The phone gets 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB.It houses a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. On the software front, it runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with Funtouch OS 3.2 on top.The device also packs some extra features like Face Access, Smart Split 3.0 and App Clone. In the optics department, the Vivo V7 comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a huge 24-megapixel front camera for shooting selfies. The new Vivo V7 Price in Nepal is Rs.29,990.
