Acer has unveiled their new 2-in-1 convertible gaming laptop – the Nitro 5 Spin. Acer Nitro Spin 2-in-1 is a hybrid laptop where users can flip the screen and switch between both a laptop and a tablet depending on their needs. Not only Nitro 5 spin is a convertible laptop but also a laptop targeted and designed for casual gamers. The best part of this laptop is that it comes with Intel’s new released 8th-Generation processors. Acer Nitro 5 spin price starts at $999 and will go on sale this October. This laptop is a perfect fit for multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games.
Acer claims that the Nitro 5 Spin offers up to 10 hours of battery life.
The Nitro Spin 5 has an aluminum chassis and packs a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS Touchscreen display, powered by Intel 8th Gen CPU, and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU. The laptop supports up to 16GB of RAM and is backed by 512GB PCIe SSD Storage. The company claims that the Nitro 5 Spin will offer 10 hours of battery life. Acer has managed to put some features into the laptop including 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO support, front-facing speakers with one subwoofer, red backlighting keyboard and a Windows Hello fingerprint sensor for secure authentication.
